  • The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep

    I just finished watching a really great movie. It was "The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep".

    It was about a scottish boy who discovers and egg on the beach. He takes the egg home and it hatches into this strange creature. He tries to keep the creature a secret but it just keeps getting bigger and bigger so he lets it go in the lock where. He then has to protect it from worse things than just being discovered by his mother.

    This movie made me both laugh and cry. I highly recommend watching it to anyone who is still a child at heart.

  • Need money, no gas

    Right now the tank is sitting on E outside. Me and Eddie only have $5 to fill it up and no other money coming in for two weeks. Edward wants to try to go to labor ready or something, however, he doesn't have the gas to get there. Today we will try to go to the Texas Workforce Center and see if they can't give us a gas voucher or some sort of help. We need it.

    If we can't find some way to get gas in the car, I won't be able to go to work, then we will both be out of jobs. And I think Edward's step-mom, Doris, may be selling the house soon (we are living in her house right now, paying a little rent). If we can't find somewhere to live soon, we may be living in the car with the cats and possibly the chihuahua.

  • Today was my first day working at my second job - McDonalds. The last job I worked was WalMart and I really never wanted to work at a fast food restaurant, but me and my hubby need the money since he is currently out of work. I don't think it will be all too bad to work there, just not what I'd prefer. I am happy about it being a night job though. I have been wanting to get a night job whenever I finish highschool and it's awesome that I got one so fast. I go back in for training Sunday at 11pm.
